Wearing school uniforms and updating the school uniform is a priority for our school, according to the results of a recent community survey.
Our students, parents, carers, staff were given the opportunity to respond to the survey, which aimed to take the pulse of the broader school community on the importance of unform and what they think the future of the Morisset High School uniform should be.
Almost 90 per cent of people who completed the survey said they supported Morisset High School students wearing a school uniform.
There was also strong support for updating the school uniform, with more than 62 per cent of people saying that the uniform should be changed.
The school’s contract with our current uniform supplier is coming to an end, which provides our school community with an opportunity to review the school uniforms, and focus on why students wear uniforms, and what wearing uniform means to our school and community.
The results of the survey will be used to help the Morisset High School Uniform Committee, which is made up of the community, staff and, students, to make decisions about a revised school uniform.
Work to reimagine the school uniform is underway and we will keep seeking feedback from our community during Term 3, on a new look uniform.
