Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

Costs to consider include:

  • uniforms

  • school books and equipment

  • excursions

  • co-curricular activities.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.

PARENT ONLINE PAYMENTS (POP)

It is now possible for parents to make online payments to the school for amounts owing to students, via a secure payment page hosted by Westpac. Payments can be made using either a Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card and can be made via computer, tablet or mobile phone. The payment page is accessed from the front page of the schools' website by selecting -   $ Make a Payment

Items that can be paid include voluntary school contributions, subject fees and excursions, There is also a category called 'Other' that covers items not covered in the previous headings, eg School Camp.  Other can be used to make a complete payment of a school invoice.

When you access the $ Make a payment you must enter:

the students' name and Year enrolled

OR

the students' name and date of birth

These details are entered each time you make a payment as student information is not held within the payment system. There is also the option to enter Invoice number if known as an optional field.

This is a secure payment system hosted by Westpac to ensure that your credit/debit card details are captured in a secure manner, these details are not passed back to the school.

You have the ability to check and change any details of the payment before the payment is processed.

Details of the payments are passed daily to the school where they will be receipted against your child's account and a school receipt will be forwarded. For your own reference a receipt can be printed at time of payment.

For any enquiries regarding the Online Payment process please contact the School Administration Office.

School Bytes Online Excursion permissions and payments

The process for parents and carers to give permission and make payments for school activities has been streamlined with the online system called School Bytes.

The secure online system will make it easier for parents and carers to provide permission for their child to take part in school activities, such as an excursion, and make an online payment.

Parents and carers will receive an automatically generated email with a link that can be clicked on to open the secure online permission form. This form will contain information about the activity as well as a section for you to complete and sign (with your mouse or finger on mobile devices).

If the activity involves a cost, there will be a 'Make Online Payment' button on the form.

All emails will be sent from noreply@mail.schoolbytes.education so please ensure this is not marked as spam/junk in your email.

Please contact our School Administration Office on (02) 4973 199 if you have any questions.
