Welcome to Special Education
Morisset High School's Special Education Unit provides innovative and individualised programs for students in Years 7-12 with a range of disabilities. In 2016, the unit has expanded to 3 classes. This means that for the first time Special Education with have a Head Teacher.
The learning programs offered emphasise the development of literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills. Our focus is on developing the individual strengths and interests of students and supporting the students and families to successfully transition to the world of work and meaningful community participation.
Our students participate in a full curriculum including electives, a successful cafe, school sport and sporting events, Starstruck and community access programs.
