What is the Excellerate program?

Morisset High School’s Excellerate program empowers curious and highly engaged students to unlock their full learning potential and develops their personal strengths by offering accelerated learning and educational opportunities, which challenge these driven students to extend themselves across intellectual, creative, social-emotional, and physical domains.

The Excellerate program caters to students who demonstrate high potential in learning, are motivated to excel, and demonstrate a high level of achievement across Core and Key Learning Areas. They demonstrate a strong will to develop intelligent behaviours to continue to grow their potential.

Our highly qualified staff work with Excellerate students, using differentiated teaching and learning practices, to ensure that their specific learning and wellbeing needs are met, and they are offered an enriched/extended curriculum and opportunities beyond the typical level of students of the same age.

Year 6 students in our Western Shores Learning Alliance (WSLA) group of Public Schools and from the Morisset area, are invited to express interest in being part of the Excellerate program.
