Bell times

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.

It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.

Our bell times

The learning timetable at Morisset High School is divided into two blocks of learning (Week A and Week B), and five periods of learning or learning activities each school day.

More breaks to enhance learning and retention

Research on how students learn shows us that young people are more likely to retain the information learned at school if they have regular 'brain breaks' or time away from the cognitive load of learning. With this in mind, Morisset High School has reshaped the learning day for the benefit of our student's learning, and added more breaks so students can recharge and make the most of their time in the classroom.
