Does your child wear full School Uniform? Spotlight on Uniform at MHS

MHS is focussing on students wearing full school uniform.

Morisset High School is sharpening its focus on student uniforms to have high expectations of our students and what they wear to school.

From Monday, August 9, Week 5, our focus will be on students wearing full school uniform. Our teachers and staff will be formally checking, recording, supporting, following up, and monitoring student’s uniform.

Almost 90 per cent of people who completed a recent Morisset High School Uniform Survey, said they believed wearing school uniform was important, Principal Mr Brailey said.

“High expectations are the key to successful learning and success beyond school and will be a cornerstone of my leadership as the proud Principal of Morisset High School, Mr Brailey said.

“Like you, our teachers and staff want your children to feel a sense of belonging and pride in their school and achievements – and this starts with the small things like uniform. The small things are the building blocks to empowering young people to achieve their best.”

MHS Uniform Expectations have been communicated to our students are available on our school website and have been included in a letter from Mr Brailey mailed, and emailed to parents and carers.

“We need your support to help achieve this community goal of all MHS students wearing full school uniform,” Mr Brailey said.

Our school has an onsite uniform shop, and uniform items can also be purchased online. Financial support is also available for families if needed.”
