On Wednesday the 5th of December 2018, Morisset High School is hosting the Annual Orientation Day as set out by the Department of Education. Orientation Day is designed to support students in their final preparation for the routines that high school presents.
This transition day is the final time that the Primary students will attend Morisset High School as one cohort before they commence as Year 7 students in 2019. Students will be assigned within class groups and will undertake a number of activities including taster lessons and orienteering around the school site to become familiar with the school setting. This day will be supported by our Peer Support Student Leaders. These students have been actively involved throughout the transition processes and have received training in becoming student leaders.
The Orientation Day will commence at 9.00am and will conclude at 3.00pm and will be held at Morisset High School. The day will commence with all Year 6 students assembling in the school hall. There will be a free sausage sizzle lunch for all students, as well as cans of soft drink and water on sale for the cost of $2.
If there are any further enquires in regards to this transition day please do not hesitate to contact
Mrs Renae Lewis Year 7 advisor for 2019 on 49731999.
